I am looking at an item of clothing for a Christmas gift, and need to know color goes better with a fair complexion, dark hair, and green eyes: Maroon, or dark blue?

Depends on the item. If it's a coat the blue will go with more things. If it is a sweater the maroon can actually pair really well with the blue.
