Question for Excel Masters

Basically, what I am trying to do is pull data from a server into excel, but it's not quite that simple. The data is being continuously collected, once every few seconds or so. I want to be able to select a date range and pull the data from only that date range without having to manually enter the server and select the range myself. (i.e. I want excel to do the dirty work for me)
I know this can be done, I'm just not sure how to get excel to fetch the data by only giving it a date.

If only we had a tech board

Why don't we have a Tech Board? That would be great.

Already posted this on the tech board guys, but thanks for the groundbreaking news. The tech board doesn't get much traffic and I kind of want an answer. Stop being assholes.

you are going to have to set up some SQL Queries I think to generate the spread sheet date range.

I know it's just fractions of a penny, but you're still stealing from the company.

I must have put a decimal point in the wrong place or something. shite! I always do that. I always mess up some mundane detail.
