I’m sure emergency services will remain open.

If he works in procurement there, that portion might be shut down.

The answer is probably a phone call to them away for you and depends on his specific issue or role there.

Veteran disability pay and GI Bill benefits are funded by their own legislation separate from the annual appropriations bills.

VA funding has already been secured and will remain operational. NOLA will remain open to answer your question.

It should be open, but if he cannot be seen and needs to, send him to any ER. If someone truly needs help, they can go anywhere (vet or not).

My wife ( no pics ) works for the VA. They are fully funded through the fiscal year. There should be no interruption in service.

Thanks, everyone! I'm was trying to see if he could go in and get the ball rolling on some benefits. He needs surgery (no emergency). He was recently discharged and just needs to get things moving.

Merry Christmas, everyone! Thank you all, again!
