Good luck with the failure to appear warrant and renewing your DL when your license is suspended.

Then regardless, call the DA’s office and explain what happened. Request it be moved to a non-moving so it won’t affect your insurance. They’ll give you a new amount and you pay that over the phone with a credit card.

You’d be surprised what you will do if your DL is revoked. Not saying that will happen, and maybe since you live so far, there’s another option. Appearing in person to recall a warrant is usually mandatory. But call and see.
