Contrary to what I was taught in Ethics/professionalism, it is almost certainly best understood as a lawyer joke. It is not roundabout argument that lawyers are the protectors of a feee society.

I had a buddy make a proposal to the franchise arm of Mcdonalds. He had the property with an option to buy all of the market research etc. Made the proposal and they denied it. About 6 months later the property was purchased by Valuzzo Management and you know the rest of the story.
