My wife needs to change hers. I posted on here a while back asking what she needs to bring with her but I can't dim the thread.

Also, does she have to go to the office at Independence park? Or can she go to the Prairieville or Denham office?

Any DMV, just bring the marriage license. Will need to get a new SS card issued as well.

how'd you know?

Yea, she did the SS card change already so she's good there.

Any idea which office is quicker? Prairieville? Denham? Baker?

It's the DMV
Whichever office she can get to when they open tomorrow. It's 11 today is lost unless she just wants to play on her phone all day in a plastic chair.

Just to be clear, you CANT do the name change at the express offices like at Siegen/Perkins, can you? But she CAN do the name change other offices other than Independence?

The website will tell you what you can and can't do at express locations. I'm not positive on name change. Don't bother calling the number listed for the office, no one ever answers.

Just asked my wife, she said she did her license name change at an express location. She said she needed her new social security card and marriage license.

For the social security card, we had good luck going at 3:45 on a Friday afternoon. Only one person in front of us waiting and they were rushing so they could close shop at 4.

So happy Kentucky doesn't have a DMV. I'm pretty sure my wife just took a copy of the marriage certificate and got a new license.
