This situation is terrible so I don’t want to downplay it but something I’ve noticed this week that’s a positive spin on this unfortunate situation.
People are nicer. Things are simpler.
I live in a relatively large city and our lives are so busy. Shuffling kids to school, endless after school activities, back and forth to work, etc.
Everything has slowed down. Nothing planned. Kids are playing outside, riding bikes, climbing trees, building forts, etc. Being kids. Kind of nice.
That is all.

For now. Wait till Day 15 of this. The anxiety and pressure is going to build and people will snap.

Agreed. It’s not sustainable and worrisome to say the least but maybe when we come out of this people will have a better appreciation for things that really matter.

I agree with this statement but I truly believe it is wishful thinking

I’ve thought back on some things that were really stressing me out last month and they seem pretty trivial now.

I'm hoping that things level off and we can start getting back to normal and we are in a good time of year for that. So hopefully people get back to having fun.

I rode my bike around the lsu lakes today and pretty much everyone smiled or waved.
It was nice for a change.

That's what life was like when I was growing up.

It’s reminds me of the early to mid 90’s with tons of kids and parents outside semi-socializing and enjoying the outdoors.

Not to be a downer but it won't last. Unemployment numbers come out, bills become due for folks who lost income.
People will only put up with this for 2 weeks to a month.
