there are numerous ways to turn that off.

Removed this feature with Forscan. It doesn't even show up in my menu on the dash.

I like the looks of the current ones, but wait a year and they will likely redesign it. Seems like Gmc likes redesigning stuff to much.

Op, do you have to have something right now? Its a terrible time to buy.

I would go order a new Tundra I force Max hybrid if I were you and expect delivery next summer. Till then I would buy something used to trade in when the new Tundra arrives.

If you want a GMC AT4 w/6.2L V8, and can find one, don’t get butthurt if it costs you $10k over MSRP. But, you can turn around, sell it, get your money back +. Go figure…

OT, what's your opinion on the best truck out there right now? I'm willing to spend approx 50-60K.

Dependable - get a tundra

Like tech, but don't mind repair bills - anything else

My buddy is a tech at a GM dealer. He says stay away from the 5.3/6.2 due to lifter issues. 3.0 Duramax has looked pretty good and is what I would get in an AT4 if I were buying a GM. On the other hand, the 2.7 has been very good for the Fords. I have an older 5.0 myself and it has been very good to me, don't know too much about the newer ones.

Right. For $50-$60k you could get a pretty nice Land Cruiser or Lexus LX 570, and neither will lose much value at all by next year.

I thought I wanted the AT4 because I loved the looks, but went and test drove a bunch of them. Ended up buying an SLT four wheel drive with the diesel engine. Getting 29 mpg average so far, and it has plenty enough power. I drive a lot of highway miles, so I wanted a truck aimed at comfort rather than offroad.

Stay away from Beck and Masten in Houston, those frickers. I used CarGurus and found a gently used 2020 and got what I thought was a good deal.

I guess I'll just drive my current truck for another 15 years if a new one costs me 50k+

Only problem, there isn’t a lot to pick from

The one with the biggest bull nuts hanging from the rear bumper.

Bonus points for the one with a bull dick dragging ground in front of said nuts.

Or just but GMC AT4. Everyone will know you have the biggest set of nuts.
