Not in context. They may have seen it used as "I've seen better chicks walking around the quad" but they think they're so witty and apply it to something else: "I've seen better people rob a bank on the quad." They definitely think they're cool saying that.

Yes. Germans is a dumb response for the most part because not everyone has the luxury of reading the OT all day long and the search engine has historically sucked balls.
Now if there is a 20 page thread on the OT in plain day and I make a thread on the same subject, ok Germans is kind of warranted.
