I live near a park and dads are always bringing a bucket of baseballs and their kids out for BP.

I'm just playing with my 3 year old trying to mind my own business but some of the hitting or pitching advice I hear is cringeworthy. Oftentimes to the point that it will kill the kids chances of success or increase the likelihood of injury.

Can I interject with real advice? I mean I don't know, maybe one of these kids could be a great ball player?

Terrible dad coach example from today:

As soon as you see the pitch release from my hand you want to lift and adjust your back foot while you start your swing.

Not trying hard enough, or is it the other way around?

Try harder.

Want to know how I can tell your kids going to grow up to be an a-hole?

That's an uncoachable dad. Rabbit ears, lose them.

Just don't do it in front of the guy's kid. Poor lil man will forever remember the day he found out his dad is beta.

Actually my kids will be coached by others. Not by me.

You turned into an a-hole... can you share how so I can spare my kids the same fate?

Honestly if your taking my post as me being as a-hole I'm not sure how to help you.

Yes, you should interject. Why limit your interjections to the park? Start correcting everyone you see.

Mind your own damn business.

You must be one of those "expert" dads.

Sorry your kids don't love you anymore

It tears me up inside every day. I wake up, and it's like they're avoiding me.

I go to the kitchen, and they aren't there. I go outside to check on them, and it's like they just were never there.

Then I go on vacation whenever I want or see all this excess spending money in my bank accounts, and that's when it hits me....they don't exist.

Then you don't have any perspective on this discussion and should kindly sodomize yourself.

Not having children means you can't recognize when someone is interjecting into a situation they have no business being in?

Didn't realize it took having a kid to get common sense...I'd better get on that quick. I hope that sodomy suggestion is something that leads to procreation.

While I try and gain a dependent so I can understand how to not be socially retarded, please take note that everyone in this thread advises you mind your own damn business.

It is not your place to correct him. If they want your opinion they will ask for it.

Guy is trying to spend quality time with his son and you trying to correct him is a douche move.
