It was the out of town protesters who were the majority of the problems and arrests last year. The out of town protesters didn't show up this time around...probably because they know they aren't going to get away with Baltimore and Ferguson type protests/riots anymore with Trump and Sessions in charge.

While the community here may have not blocked road, the people protesting the night after the announcement from the DOJ did temporarily block Airline highway. Only after BRPD showed up and gave a warning did all but three people quit blocking the highway.

Excerpt:Two of the women, Kiara Jones, 19, and Krystal Sonia, 45, were arrested last July during protest link to story

Thank Mother Nature for severe storms on night one.

The can was kind kicked down the road. The Feds dumped it into Landry's lap.

I think that everyone who lives here was thankful that ambulances, fire engines, and police could get to their destinations before people died.

Yeah sure, give props to people for not doing shite they shouldn't be doing.

In Los Angeles, they pay gang members to not commit crimes of violence. Is that where we are headed?

I doubt they were acting like adults. There was probably just a shoe sale over the weekend.

Yea well big ole tough Hiller Moore dropped all charges on every person arrested in the last protest so he proved to be just another puppet to the politicians.
