I am at the mercy of the ot board. Charlotte Flair posted a tweet of her this morning. I am a boomer who doesn’t know how to use a cell phone.

Can some patriotic person please get that picture of Charlotte into this thread so we can properly celebrate what it means to be Americans?

I really do not understand how anyone could be interested in professional wrestling. Oiled up guys, fake fighting in underwear. I really just do not get it.

I’m being serious, someone please explain the appeal.

When you are younger it provided T&A, humor, fighting and competition(scripted). What else you want as a young boy?

It's a combination of storytelling, often with very engaging and larger than life characters, and athleticism. Many people also have a sense of nostalgia attached to it, enjoy the "behind the scenes" aspect of the business that has become more prominent in the Information Age, and the fun of a live show with a crowd.

If it's not your cup of tea, then that's fine. There isn't any form of entertainment that everyone likes.

This makes sense. What about grown men though?

Why do grown men like golf, or fishing, or anything really? People like different things.
