Prince was Jehovah's Witness though and sounds like he got pretty deep into his faith the past few years.
So I'm seriously doubting a devout Jehovah's Witness is shooting up heroin.

From what I understand the dude was real serious about what he out in his body. Not saying it isn't possible but it just doesn't make sense to me. But I would think more sling the line of s heart attack or some respitory failure.
