Price to haul out large pile of large trees - Fair or not fair?

I wish that were possible. It'd be a hell of a blaze. It is a bit close to other structures to do that.

Let me give you some advice. Watch axe men. Learn their approach. Attempt the work yourself

it would cost you more to do it yourself and not to mention the time spent.

I would assume that they will also need an operator and a machine to load the trees into the dump truck as well right

you are looking at about $65-75/ hour for a backhoe and operator

and about the same for a dump truck and operator

price seems legit

Yeah and the trees have to be cut up too. They were simply knocked over and piled during the initial clearing. All the stumps are still attached.

I would get a few prices from companies with loader trucks. Should be some tree company ads that state if they haul debris or not. That prob is a decent price though.

It is part of a larger project of re-grading, root raking, putting in some swales, etc. So I'm getting help on the price considering it is just part of the bigger picture.

It does include the transport costs and dump fees.

what kinda trees we talking here because if t hey are large enough, that is good money in the wood. alot of clear cutters around here will do the job for free if they get the wood.

I would take stock of what you have, how many and what kind and negotiate the price down if they get market value on the wood and where they can just dispose of the stumps
