Mitch Hedberg alive today with a twitter account would be internet gold.
You poor thing. You're missing out.
Let me introduce you to Leader of the Shark Party, Anthony Jeselnik...

It's very hard to quote most comics jokes because 75% of being a good stand-up comedian is your delivery. In the case of Mitch Hedberg it's even harder because it's 90% of what makes him a genius.

Jeselnik just tries to be offensive. Mitch Hedberg was just a brilliant observer making hilarious jokes about everyday things we take for granted.

Swiss cheese is the only cheese you can draw and people will identify. If you draw American, people will think it's cheddar. It's the only cheese you can bite and miss. "Hey, Mitch, does that sandwich have cheese on it?"
"...every now and then."

I was at a casino, I was minding my own business. This guy came up and said: "You’re going to have to move. You’re blocking the fire exit."
It's as if there was a fire, I wasn’t gonna run.
If you’re flammable and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit.
You can write that down, and put a dash in front of it, and put my name at the bottom. Dashed, but that’s all I want in life, to be dashed

Yea he had pretty short jokes but they were brilliant in their simplicity.
An out of service escalator being temporarily stairs. That’s so simple of a concept but his delivery is hilarious.

I saw a commercial on late night TV, it said,”Forget everything you know about slipcovers.” So I did. And it was a load off my mind. Then the commercial tried to sell me slipcovers, and I didn’t know what the hell they were.

There have been maybe 5 "celebrities" that have died I've legitimately been bummed about. Mitch was one

Tennis’s balls and pringles gets me every time
Posted on 6/15/18 at 12:44 pm to Itismemc
I think Pringles' initial intention was to make tennis balls, but on the day that the rubber was supposed to show up, a big truckload of potatoes arrived. And Pringles is a laid-back company -- they said, 'frick it. Cut 'em up.'
