Yeah my wife had preeclampsia and it started at about 30 weeks or so, my advice is to heed the doctors advice. Blood pressure spikes really easily

Yep more than likely. She needs to get tested again to confirm so they will get her the medicine she needs. I'm not sure how it affects unborn babies that's what a doctor need to advise you and her on. I would just sit at the house and hope for the best because a lot of the sever cases I have heard about are because they waited too late to go get treatment.

Then I would just monitor it if you talked to her OB. If her BP goes up or she starts feeling a lot worse, I'd call them back. Also, don't be afraid to call the on-call folks, even if it feels silly calling. They've probably heard everything.

Maybe bring her to a doctor to be safe.

Hmm. Don't want to be an alarmist but don't take anything lightly. Preeclampsia and fever. Trust me. Trust your gut and be safer than sorry. Let the experts decide.

This. They are paid handsomely.

Don't be shy about calling them at any hour if her fever spikes or her blood pressure climbs. If she's too worried/shy about calling, you should do it.

If you doubt or have concerns, go to the ER. 104+ fever for a pregnant woman is serious business. Another far less important thought but worth mentioning - your yearly deductible is probably up in two days. If you have thoughts of taking her to the ER it might be worth considering that.

The doc office probably told you this - and I am NOT a doctor - make sure she has enough to drink

Find treatment and get a new doctor. That’s some BS.

Dumb question but who do you call for “on-call” people?

If you are freaked out, bring her to Urgent Care or the ER, especially since she is pregnant.

Typically if you call a doctor's office after hours (especially an OB/GYN) it'll say something like "if you have any questions for the on-call staff, please hold" or something along those lines. Then a nurse will typically answer, take down your concerns, and the on-call doc will call you back with an answer.

They are now giving antibody infusions as out patients and clears up Covid with in 6-8 hrs. I would take her to the hospital and have the on call doctor check her.....I would not wait till it is to late for your wife or the baby....
