Thanks for all the prayers. Around 5 today my grandmother passed. Watched her take her last breath. Not by choice but because I wanted to be there for her, as painful as it was for me to do. I hope she is in heaven now with my mom and grandpaw and the rest of the family and friends.

Thanks. Brought back a lot of bad memories when my mom died in 08. I know I should focus on the good times.

Weaver, my condolences. Take comfort in your belief that she is with your Mom.

You're a good man taking care of your Mom and your Grandmaw before their passing. God Bless You.

Sorry, man. I lost my mom in August and it still hurts real bad. Hang in there and make both of them proud. Energy cannot be created or destroyed. Theirs is floating around forever.

While I'm sorry to see she has passed, feel good knowing left this world at peace surrounded by loved ones. A person couldn't ask for more, and you couldn't have been a more supportive grandson.

Thanks to all of you for the support. I know people laugh at the OT sometimes but we are all human and can relate to things. I appreciate the kind words. It is comforting.

Wow. Sorry Weaver. No one could have done more and you can move forward with no regrets.

Most people can't.

As I started the grieving process last night and into this morning, something hit me while I was sleeping. As my maw maw was taking her last breaths, I noticed what was a tear coming out of her left eye. I think this was a sign that she was letting us know that she was sad to be leaving but was glad we were there for her. After serious consideration I need to find the strength to say some words on her behalf at her service. I know it will be difficult but I got thru my mom's service doing it so I need to do the same. That is the least I can do for her.

I gave the eulogy at both my grandmothers funerals.

Work at it and the words will flow.

Leave them with a sense of who she was. Tell the funny stories. Tell the stories that made a difference in yours and others lives.

Prayers sent.
