I went through old Perkins just now and it's open. No traffic since schools are closed.

Water was beginning to seep over at old Perkins and Santa Maria late yesterday evening at crest. Anyone know if it is open this morning?

I have a couple of friends who live off of 42 and have had rising water due to Bayou Manchac and Muddy Creek. They posted this morning that the water is starting to go down, so hopefully that will start to happen near Old Perkins as well and the current state will be the worst of it.
