In which ballpark? What if he took steroids or HGH and had batting practice for a month? What kind of pitch would be thrown that he would have to hit out?
It doesnt matter because we're not discussing hitting a home run over the fence. He said...

chance of hitting an inside-the-park home run
...which is funny because Bartolo Colon is a fat frick.

Huh? Definitely matters. Deeper fences, more space to hit the ball, more pockets to hit, higher probability of inside the park homerun. It matters a lot IMO. Fielder can get to the ball quicker in a smaller park.

1 in roughly 295 million, or about the same number of people in America. So basically, you have (roughly) equivalent odds of someone picking a name out of a hat that contains every living person in the USA and them picking you.
This.
Another analogy I heard from a statistician was that 175 million pennies end to end would stretch from Los Angeles to Chicago.
Drive from LA to Chicago & randomly pick up the a specially marked penny from the side of the highway. 2 dollars per chance at the specially marked penny . Those are your chances of winning the Powerball.
Now the odds have increased from 175 million to 292 million pennies .
Now drive from Los Angeles to Chicago & back & pick up that specially marked Penny lined up on either side of the highway.
