We're not staying in a shitty hotel. We're staying on site at a Universal resort.
This morning I asked the front desk about the alarm. They simply said, "We believe it was a false alarm. We apologize for the inconvenience, sir. Have a good day."
For some reason that didn't make me feel better. Perhaps a called in threat that fortunately was a hoax?

That's shameful especially if you have a family.
