Yep. Both my Pops and one of my grandmothers had it prescribed. Pops would only take it if he absolutely had to and every other thing he would regularly do to knock out a gout flareup failed. He absolutely hated it.

Isn't a doctor free to prescribe pretty much anything they want (opioids probably not included) for any ailment? If they kill you with an off-label treatment or one that doesn't meet the current standard of care, though, that's when an attorney grows its horns.
Can a doctor (real, not just played one on TV) weigh in on whether or not you can prescribe anything you want? I'm curious.

Seems like if CV19 gets into the lungs it's a difficult road. The longer this disease has gone on the more it alarms me. But I get Moderna 2 on Feb 3. Even then who knows whether or not it provides immunity. I imagine I'll still have to wear a mask, social distance and all that shite.
