You shouldn’t put stuff like that in a garbage disposal. Only liquids or solids that soften in water, like cereal for example. It’s not a wood chipper

I’ve been working on that invention in my head for 20 years. I’m getting close to drawing up a prototype.

This guy gets it. An astonishing amount of ignorance in this thread. Disposals are meant to take care of inordinate scraps and leavings on plates and pots to get them down the drain. They're not meant to rip a bunch of potato peels and other shite up for the drain.


If you can scrape it into the trash can folks, thats what you do. Not just put it down the sink. Plumbers everywhere howver appreciate the business.
