How do you like having a personal weather station? Pretty awesome christmas gift. Also, just to the right of your circle is the silhouette of a really large bald ghost wearing an oversized jacket. Please tell me I ain't going crazy

Holy shite I'm here at Bush and the DNT and my big arse windows started wobbling pretty bad. Got a tad nervous there for about five minutes....

Max 54mph. I went outside to watch the squall come in but Ive seen much stronger. I think to stronger part of the storm was south and north of downtown dallas....I'm about 3 miles due east of downtown. 90% of storms split as they come into downtown dallas and we often get very little of anything when the rest of DFW gets pummeled. I am getting heavy rain at 2.9" per hour.

Awesome! I wish I could say its a ghost but I'm sure rain drops got on my lens. Its nice having the station. Now I don't have to visually check my old rain gauge.....although I am going to compare the old rain gauge to the weather station reading. And last week I was able to see that the low was 17 at 8:30am.....and all the data will be available to me......for what that's worth. Its just good, geeky fun.
