I was in kindergarten the first day it opened. In 1984. I’m 38.
I bet we know each other, or at least recognize the last names. Kenner was super small back then.

Kenner has it’s own Mayor, but nice try.
And I know Mike and Michelle pretty well, so take it easy.

I was in 4th grade. That was the highest grade the school had at that time. My sister was in 1st grade. I bet you’d recognize my last name.

There are nicer houses off loyola than power. Once you get north of west Esplanade.

Power and williams you have constant planes.

Yeah, we know. Bussion's Republican faction keeps pumping him up. Though I think that caused Lopinto to win the sheriff race.

I actually like Mike. It's a stupid thing he did and he should have stepped down.
It brought a lot of shame. I the age he was now, I couldn't imagine creeping at Chappelle at my age. It's just wrong.
. Then it was a male too.
A shame.
He's a good guy and his wife's nice too. Her family is loaded.

Right pass Vintage on the left, and it looks like they’re building another subdivision on the right.

To the OP: I forgot to add, there’s a nice city park and new dog park off Loyola.
And a legit skate park off Loyola.
When you really dig into Kenner, it’s actually come a long way and the city officials are very involved in constantly improving.

I say Kenner brah. I only use brah to end a sentence though brah. For instance I say something like I'm going to Kenner to get some tacos brah. I wouldn't say Kenner Brah in the middle of the sentence. But if you asked me where I'm from I would say Kenner brah.

I used to ice skate in Kenner next to the DMV and use to sit on Santa's lap at the Sun Basket brah. I'm what you would call an expert on this topic brah.

You would have to pay me to live in Kenner these days brah.

In all fairness, Mike Yenni is more than fair game after what he pulled and decided to stay in politics.

The one in the right is slowly developing. They built the first house in 2004.

The one in the left built up in a year.

I work in Gabriel a lot, major building boom.

The one that backs up to the levee? Yeah that would be a legit house. I hear it used to be a bed and breakfast a while back. I’m two blocks from there and walk by it on my evening walks.

Yes indeed. I know a very high TAF member who lives in Gabriel. That subdivision blew up.
I remember watching the horse races from the levee when it was Jefferson Downs

It's not perfect but I did like the mayor's war on blight.

I also like that he's tough on the pavilion

I remember when it was just two houses.
There are two dozen under construction right now.

Do you think Louisiana trace will end up taking off? In the future we would love to build but obviously land is hard to come by. Would love to find an up and coming subdivision but I’m not looking to build for at least 10 years. I wish I had land where I am but there is only 3 lots left and they aren’t for sale.
