what? Which glaciation period are you talking about? Because actual land mass rise and the sea level rise is known fairly accurately for all known ice ages. Which one are you referring to so that we can check the math on whether or not the Atlantis described by Plato (again, the only account we have) could have risen thru natural means, and subsequently sank again

I’ll gladly listen to any evidence that there ever was a lost continent of Atlantis. Post yours up

Plato’s story is “too detailed” to be fiction…
I'm of Greek descent and loved visiting the country when my mother lived there but I can tell you the people have great imaginations and they have delusions of grandeur about their history. They'll claim all manner of history because of their contributions. Some nationalists will even appropriate much of Italian history because of their influence on the Romans. Wouldn't suprise me to claim the moon because of the Apollo missions.

It is sad that we may never know the details of some incredible civilizations in prehistory.

Its cyclic as the Egyptian priest told Solon. Solar Micronova (the sun reboots itself) is coming around again - tsunamis, burning forests, continental plates moving, starvation, disease, earthquakes - mass depopulation.

Its expected by 2040 from all the cosmic data. Sir Issac Newton thought 2070. Einstein was trying to work it out.
