It probably looked abandoned

This kinda reminds me of the Skip Bertman tornado joke about Starkville. Tornado comes through and does about 10 million worth of improvements.

I’m guessing her house really looked like it needed to be torn down. No contractor, no matter how brain dead is tearing down a house that is well kept and obviously lived in. Same thing happened on Georgia last year. Woman was whining about it and turned out it was an abandoned, boarded up POS that nobody had lived in for 7 years. Now she gon perform the required cry on the news and sue!

How the hell do you tear down a house without quadruple checking it's the right one
There have been cases where cops got a warrant for a certain address and then busted in the wrong house with flash bangs, guns to heads, etc.
Happened recently when the cops even had a pic of the right house. They approached a house, and one guy realized it was the wrong address. They regrouped and still broke in the wrong house, two doors away from the target address. Federal appellate court said the cops were not liable due to qualified immunity.
