re: Poor people who smoke cigarettes

Stopped smoking after about 6 months of daily smoking. Saving me about $10-$15 a week

What's the old saying- to prevent being poor, just do the following three things:

1. graduate from High School.
2. after high school, get a job, any job.
3. don't have kids until your married.

You just insulted 95 percent of the population of Louisiana, baw.

But but but... Big tobacco markets it's self towards poor people...

So it's not their fault...

I can see how enduring some of you people all day long would probably make me want to light up a smoke.

Smoking is expensive, but it isn't that expensive. Many poor people have the attitude they will never have anything so they don't bother to try to save money. they just spend it as it comes in.
