Quite often the gas station management will have these homeless and underserved members of the community at their stations throughout the day cleaning up the parking lots, bathrooms, store floors, taking out the garbage etc. in exchange for small amounts of ca$h money and/or cigarettes and beer.

These stations are heavily barricaded with metal bars and thick plexiglass cages around the counters. Upon walking in the doors, many of the stations have chimes going off then an audio recording informing the person they are being audio and video recorded.

These homeless and underserved, at least by lack of media accounts, never physically harass people. They just ask for spare change and if a customer complains to the management, the management will tell the person to leave the customer alone.

Whoever called police must have done so from their cellphone without complaining to the store management.
