From the look of that video it shows a lot more than just a casual hunter killing animals. These dudes displayed a sort of evilness imo. Something that is completely defenseless when you kill it and show so much joy doing it is crazy to me. frick them dudes

I made the mistake of watching the video with the sound on.

Hearing those poor little cubs shrieking like that before they were shot was horrible.

That father and son have no soul.

I'm going to risk it, but honestly, while the method was very shitty the end result in an Alaskan setting isn't all that terrible. It's normal.

They make real hunters look bad

I hear what you're saying, but the truth is there isn't a lot of real hunting that takes place anymore. Particularly in the lower 48. Killing a deer that is standing at a feeder while you're sitting in a box blind 50 yards away with a scoped rifle isn't hunting. It's just shooting. Not that I have a problem with that. If you enjoy eating venison, it's pretty much how you get it. No different from the guy with the percussion gun at the slaughter house. That guy isn't hunting cows, he's just killing them so the more tender hearted can enjoy their big mac with a clean conscience....lol. The real crime here is that they didn't eat what they killed.

You're so right. One of my great friends owns 30_ Ranch in Texas and the posts about taking " we have xxx left so hurry..." Is just way too simple. One bear and cubs isn't much different than hey! An Oryx bull, boom

I get what you are saying. I have never dated anyone that hunted or grew up with hunting culture so it’s all very foreign to me. I don’t have an issue with hunting though.

I just can’t see how someone can aim a gun at small shrieking bear cubs and pull the trigger.

I don't think killing protected animals in Alaska is normal. In fact, I believe it's highly frowned upon. Poaching is not normal. Legal hunting is. Most people there respect the laws and the land, and probably believe (rightly) that the father and son are pieces of lazy shite.

Nor can I. Hitting the twins is awful at least from our view.

Excuse me, what? They are saying this guy will be able to hunt again in his lifetime?

That is absurd. These people need to be banned from hunting for-ever.

How can someone find pleasure in killing a sleeping mother bear and her cubs? Absolute psychopaths.

There's a difference between hunters and killers. Hunters generally are sportsmen. Killers have no moral or ethical code.

Exactly.

I am not saying these guys should be killed or jailed for life, but they absolutely should not be allowed to hunt or own guns again in their lifetime IMO.

At least the dad, who fired all the shots.

Lazy man hunting. I'll sit in a box to get some meat but I don't really consider it hunting. You're describing hunting in the east and southeast. There isnt much box stand hunting in the west

Would you say that to all the wounded warriors who physically can't draw a bow?
