We just had this exact thread in the last two weeks.
Eat at Brooklyn Pizzeria along Hwy 90 in BSL. Best pizza I've had in the entire Gulf region, no joke.

Is it the same as the other location? Wooden deck, on the water, open air bar, etc?
Yep.
And as far as the best section of beach, I'd say Pass Christian or Long Beach.
There's a pavillion at the LB harbor and there are restrooms there if you plan on staying out there for a while

And listen to this man. It's fricking gangster pizza. They're like 3 feet in diameter and about an 1/8 of an inch thick.

Search Teddy Cabin in Pass Christian. Very cool place to sleep right across the beach. Relatively inexpensive and lots of privacy. Cabin is on 2.5 acres of land with a private pool.

BSL there isn't too much besides going to the blind tiger for cold beers, which is good.
Go to Muddy Waters BBQ in Gulfport
If you want the best Poboys on the coast, head to Fayards in Ocean Springs(inside a gas station but so damn good). I recommend the crab Poboy fully dressed
Back toward Biloxi, CQ on top of Treasure Bay is very good for Seafood and business casual..7:30 would be perfect for an awesome sunset. Go check out Pass Christian of they have a festival this weekend or next(they have lots in the summer)

I live in BSL, there's a lot of good places here. All depends on what you want though. Bars, poboys, fine dining, pizza...bay town inn is a good spot to stay, tons of vacation rentals as well.

Best bars in the Bay are all within walking distance of each other:
The Blind Tiger- $2 on most longnecks. On the beach. Inside and outside bar area. Pretty decent food and a good crowd.
The Ugly Pirate- Does trivia every Thursday ($1 to play and winning team gets the pot along with other prizes.) Decent selection of local and micro beers. Good food. Very diverse crowd from bikers to babies to dogs. Small on the inside so outside is preferred. Live music lots of nights too. No liquor
The Mockingbird Cafe- $1PBR during happy hour. Live music. Hipsters aplenty. But it's fairly nice. Live music too with outdoor seating. No liquor either.
And I'll take Tony's Brick Oven in Gulfport over Brooklyn Pizza

Lil Joes makes some good fried seafood, best drinks are at 200 N Beach (James is the best bartender on the coast), best pizza is the Sycamore House ( though I like Brooklyn's too), blind tiger is a great spot, Trapanis for fish or wings....

Gulfport - Chimney's for dinner; Mississippi Brewing Company
Pass - Hook; not sure what is going on with Pirate's Cove
Bay - Serious Bread - awesome bakery; Blind Tiger - not the Good Life, but a small beachfront bar; North Beach - good dinner restaurant on beach blvd
Waveland - asian woman named Lalee on hwy 90 for fresh shrimp
Ocean Springs - The Shed
Never been to the Cuevas restaurant, but heard it's solid.
