stay within a 15-20 min drive of each.

I lived in Austin for just under a year. Northern Pflugerville, on the line with Round Rock is going to be the best bang for your buck. Probably 25-30 minutes with traffic from downtown but that's where I found the best deal. Wells Branch, Windmere areas.

If you’re a young, single guy and want to sow your oats, splurge for a place in West Ave on Kirby. Get a nice suit downstairs from Suit Supply then go pickup broads at Willie G’s, Del Frisco’s Grille, Cru, and Pondicheri.

In Houston I suggest Montrose area, Rice Military, Washington Ave corridor, and the Heights. Look at both houses and apartments.

Terrible lie. It would take him over a hour and a half to get home in the afternoons coming from S. Austin to Pflugervile.

Do you even Austin bro?

I got a nice property right off SH130.
House, Barn and 20 acres. On Williamson county road 110.

$375,000

(Trying to get Grandpa into a neighborhood as he's alone with my crazy uncle)

Depends on his work hours. When I was there in 2015, I could commute to Northland Drive in about 15 minutes with morning traffic. I lived near Northland park.

But I didn't realize he would be working THAT far south. I would probably look in San Marcos near Texas State if he's young. Ton of college poon and New Braunfels is awesome.
