Deserves the trophy for the worst dogs ever. All pitbull mixes, all American Staffordshire Terrier, American Bulldogs, all American Pit Bull Terriers, all Staffordshire Bull Terriers, etc.

Literally the worst dogs ever. Owning one is essentially owning a ticking time bomb.

Pit bulls, more like shite bulls.

I might be willing to risk my own life around a shelter pitt if I needed a guard dog but I'd never own one if kids were anywhere close or I was in a city and there was risk of thr dog getting loose. People are crazy bringing Pits home from a shelter to be around kids

My new neighbor has one that is allowed to run around several hours a day without a leash and he has no fence. The dog makes it's way into our yard and acts very skittish. He always comes running up to us barking and his hair is standing on the back of his neck but he will come right up to us wanting to be petted. I like the dog but I'm always worried that the dog is going to get spooked and attack one of us one day because he is so nervous.

I own one as a working hog dog. Have had others in the past for the same job and enjoyed each one greatly. My current one is the hardest working little dog I've ever been around, of any breed. Absolutely insane amount of drive and desire to work. He's also one of the friendliest dogs you could meet.
BUT, I understand and respect what they're capable of and I'm a responsible owner. A 45lb dog that can outrun most others, can catch and hold a 200lb boar alone, and can load in a truck with the tailgate up is likely capable of serious trouble in the wrong hands.

If people have to change their behavior around an animal it is a dangerous animal and should not be loose.
