He's actually a cool dog so I think I will pass on shooting him. Hasn't attacked, mauled, killed any kids although he does scare the pizz out of the Messcans that mow my neighbor's yard and the meter reader. Plus he is really my son's dog, I just trained him.

I could see how people would get this story confused.
"The owner, of the pit bull, that was killed Sunday after attacking a Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputy..."
It can kind of sound as if the owner of a pit bull attacked the sheriff's deputy... But of course, if that was the case, it would have to be "who" instead of "that"... nevermind...
