I'm gonna show this to my wife. Thank you!

Our son was born 7.5 weeks early and was very hard on both of us, but more on her. He is now going to be 4 in a few weeks and as healthy as could be. He is a bit underdeveloped intellectually and with his annunciation of words and motorskills. We have him meeting with specialists every week and he has been progressing right along! The doctor told us exactly what to expect and he nailed it. Will be "caught up" with other kids in about a year or two.

My heart goes out to new parents with a preemie simply because I know how scared my wife and I was. But things taper out to normal, I promise!

This. He is as healthy as can be but its a little early to tell if he is underdeveloped in any way. So far he has seemed to have "caught up" quickly. Even though he is our adopted son, we have been thankful to be there from the beginning and could not have asked for a better gift in our lives.

Ty for the kind words from everyone. And yes he is FAF with his little sperrys.

My son was born 10 weeks early.

He's 3 now and 45 inches tall and 45 pounds.
