McCain was on board when this event occurred, but the ordnance came from an F-4 that was being prepped on the flight line. McCain flew the A-4 Skyhawk.
I had heard it came from McCain's aircraft as well, but it turns out that it's not the case.

McCain’s Skyhawk is the middle aircraft from the right in the picture I posted and as mentioned above, his aircraft was not the initial cause of the accident.
