In February of 1978, five LSU basketball subs beat No. 1 Kentucky in overtime after all of the starters had earlier fouled out. Kentucky went on to win the National Championship. Here is LSU's Durand "Rudy" Macklin, who made 11 of 12 field goal attempts in regulation over Kentucky All-American Rick Robey. The Wildcat in the photo is Jack Givens.

ETA: had a couple of pairs of those Converse too, GOAT Converse bball shoes, imo

I friend of mine sat on a plane next to LaWanda Page. He said she was mellow, cool and funny - not at all like Aunt Esther.

Those were some pretty funny characters. One of the first flights I flew for my airline had “Grady” on it in first class. Nice man, not very Grady like either.
