Many folks don’t know that Harry Caray was teamed up with Jack Buck in St Louis for baseball Cardinal games for years.
Caray got run out of town by team owner August Busch Junior because Caray had convinced Mrs Busch that this bud’s for you.
That’s how he ended up in Chicago, it wasn’t St Louis.
KXOK was a Top 40 format Station, KMOX was/is the newsy radio leader.
