Force cereal, the first commercially successful wheat flake
It popularized the Sunny Jim character, who became a national sensation
SJ and Force are mentioned in the lyrics of this classic song

Nose art on the B-25H Mitchell bomber Eatin’ Kitty of the 12th Bomb Group’s 82nd Bomb Squadron, circa 1944. The aircraft originally carried a more suggestive name, but higher command deemed it inappropriate and ordered it removed, after which it was changed to Kitty.

Michael’s Fine Food, Cleveland, Mississippi, where Flossie Miller worked as a cook in the 1950s and 60s.
Flossie migrated to CA and opened a restaurant in Torrance, which helped introduced the "meat and three" concept to SoCal
Online reviews say they had some of the best fried chicken in L.A.
Flossie's closed in 2015

I read an article about the event at Augusta National with Reagan, and why it never made headlines. Another famous event happened on the same day, which kept the Augusta event buried. I think it was the invasion of Grenada.

Weird the way every man was wearing a hat up until what, the mid 60's?
Now, practically no one unless its a baseball cap.

I knew a guy who was addicted to them, and would get pissed if he missed an episode

Well, now... THERE'S an idea for relaxing this evening after completing the weekend honey-do list! I may just have to settle in and watch the movie Gallipoli. It has been a looooooong time.
Thanks for the pic!
