We had it in our house in Metairie, parents' house was built in the mid 50's.

It was a tedious process, that's what's amazing that it was a standard floor back then..

Which makes sense because during WWII tank destroyer troops did their training at Ford Hood, Texas. She must have been dating one of the soldiers there.
