Congrats on retirement and thanks for your service 
Closest I've been is Reno. My own retirement plan has us living somewhere near the Continental Divide. I spent time in Colorado and Wyoming for work and absolutely loved it. I would like to visit Northern California one day.
If you have a chance, could you post some pics of the scenery in the area? One of my favorite threads is the one where Roger posts his Alaska pics.

I don't know from phones. It was non-Apple is all I know.
I just saw a thing on the Barnacle and that was my first thought when I saw something on the windshield - Barnacle on a budget. We are a very small city.
And Dwight Schrute ain't that far off - but I'm not nearly that clever.
