LOL that gif. That tv looks to still have the sticker in the lower left corner like they may have intended to return it after the Superbowl.

Spent some time in Philly. There are some interesting historical sights and a lot of good restaurants. Some of the people we met were very nice.

But you can go from okay to scary in a block. I've never seen a city with so much trash on the streets or a more depressing one.

While true, I am willing to bet Veterans Stadium was one of, if not the first to have a jail on the grounds.

Point taken. I have been to Detroit, but not in many years. It was still a pretty thriving city when I passed through.

The Dome has 2 cells. At least in 2006 they did. Found out the hard way that you cannot sell tickets on Super Dome property. A douchebag detective in street clothes took our tickets and brought me (18) and my 16 year old brother in and put us in a cell. They eventually let us go and gave the tickets back to us but we were locked up for close to 2 hours while they were trying to get in touch with our parents who were at church.

edit: we were selling way below face value, were not scalping

Went to a Monday night game when the Rams were the greatest show on turf. Rams 21-0 in Detroit within 5 minutes. Crowd started cheering "Lets go Red Wings" for a solid 10 minutes. It was hilarious.

They boo'd Santa Claus one year..

They boo'd the Walter Payton man of the year because it was the Dallas QB. That was kind of funny.

I think the only reason anyone pulled for Philly was just to watch the town explode if they won.
