What an idiot then
I thought it was pretty smart of the cop to move the knife from the table as he was walking by.

The chick cop pulled her taser first instead of her gun. Watch it again. :smh: The guy cop did everything right. Heads up job by him pushing the knife and fork out of reach of the perp while walking him out of the restaurant.

Wow! The lady LEO needs to buy the guy LEO a Rolex and a vacation to the islands and cut his grass for life.

I could be wrong, I think I read somewhere that was a BB gun the guy pulled. What a terrible choice of action.

This link has the story and some video from the woman cop's camera.
You can see the male cop's actions well.

the guy had to want to die that night. he pulls a bb, or pellet gun, easily could have blinded the female LEO with it but didn't, what did he expect was going to happen once he pulled that pistol from his pants?

Notice that the victim's brother didn't say he was "a good boy" and immediately assume the cops were a hit squad.:

Bushey's brother, Jeff Bushey, said there were few warning signs that his brother would be involved in this type of altercation. James moved in with Jeff about six months ago from New Hampshire. Jeff Bushey said James had gone through a divorce and was struggling to get back on his feet.
"He's just a great brother, he'd do anything for anybody,” said Jeff Bushey. “[He's] just a good ‘ole guy who was going through a lot of stuff trying to get his life turned around. I can't imagine him wanting to hurt somebody."
Jeff Bushey said his grief over his brother's death won't make him jump to conclusions about police.
“From everything that I've heard and seen, they acted on someone waving a firearm. I wasn't there and I'm not here to judge,” said Jeff Bushey. “I figure that the investigation will reveal it and justice will be served in the end.”
The Texas Rangers are investigating the incident.

It doesnt make sense to me why he would pull a gun out as slow as he did.
And even when the male cop turned him around, he didnt seem to make any effort to shoot back at the cops.
That was very strange to watch.

The shooting seemed fine to me. this action probably could have been avoided if the LE had taken control of the escort though. They at the very least needed a basic LE grasp or probably handcuffs. The officer obviously felt there was a safety concern by moving the knife.

he was going through a tough time, probably depressed..
wanted to die.. death by suicide via cop.
i can actually believe the brother here saying he wouldn't want to hurt anybody.. he had every chance to and he didn't.. he probably got involved in the robbery just to get the police after him..
but who really knows

Lol what? That's almost exactly what he says. I see what you are getting at from the "other" media fueled videos, but this article doesn't support you.
He says "just a good ole guy,""trying to get his life turned around""not here to judge and justice will be served" is thinly veiling it as he needs more evidence to determine if police took appropriate action
