I saw a police car along the side of the road on my way to work this morning in Charleston. Probably just trying to catch speeders and it was in no way related to Alton Sterling, but I can't be positive.

Lots of people in town square around the court house. Some black, some white. Might be gearing up to protest, or just on their lunch break. Can't be sure.

ETA: CCs Coffee truck in front of court house, likely full of SWAT waiting to pounce, or delivering coffee. Again, can't be sure.

They should have had this done LAST summer..... and just maybe we wouldn't have 3 dead officers and one trying to recover from horrible wounds....

I'm sorry, I was on the shuttle bus that brings us from employee parking to the hospital. I had no power in that situation and it made me feel horrible.

Just passed the courthouse and the capital. Nothing is happening. Business as usual. Although, there was some type of catered event with big tents that looked like it started around noon. There's was 4 white Hotard buses unloading people for said event. The buses are parking at the McDonald's on govt.
