Joe really isn’t a good interviewer. He’s lucky he was one orb the first to do the podcast format. He’s able to bring in big names to keep the views coming. There are tons of better interviewers and once you find them you’ll see had bad and repetitive joe is with his guest

Yeah but he is easy to follow and people are relaxed around him. Makes for a good listen.

Have you seen other interviews with similar guest?
Most people are comfortable in interviews regardless of who’s interviewing them joe doesn’t have some special ability there.

He may not be some world class journalistic type interviewer but he's a very disarming, everyman type dude that has conversations with people that are super entertaining to listen to
Between his tv background, stand up career, UFC and mma stuff, hunting, workout and wellness, psychedelic advocacy, massive network of friends etc its practically impossible to not have a common thread to explore with guests
