Yes, it was. Soaps are stupid. Everyone knows they are stupid. Even people who watch them know that they are stupid. Even the people who work on them know they are stupid. Everyone except you apparently. They are absolute bottom of the barrel entertainment.

Nah I know they are stupid, and the stories are constantly regurgitated. I just don't like people to put blanket statements on certain things when most if not all TV shows have stupid story lines, yet people still categorize them as better than the average soap opera simply based on it being a soap opera. A stupid show is a stupid show regardless of the genre. That is my only real gripe.

Don't mess with the mustache! Victor is a beast. My wife has Y&R on the DVR and watches it at night. I lose count of how many times these characters die or marry each other. It is easy entertainment to pass the time.
Used to watch Days some back in the day but it got too much boy on boy love in the last few years so we stopped. I'll never forget Marlena getting possessed. That was their last big ratings era.
