In my experience, the ones who haul arse then slow way down and even tailgate others, only to rinse and repeat, are almost always on their phones. I drive a solid speed on the interstate (anywhere from 77/78 to 85 if I have a good buffer car), and it amazes me how often I get tailgated and passed only to pass them back several miles later because they’re doing 70. And almost always it’s because they’re preoccupied with their phones.

There was a line of 15 cars in front of me with no where to go. Pissed me off. This dude had no shirt on. Was a baw for sure.

Yeah, I love it when you’re behind a line of a dozen cars and the guy behind you is telling you to get over like he’s going to act of God 12 cars out of the way. Once the line in front finally clears I love flooring it and leaving that idiot in the dust.

was in the right lane, as it says. Thanks for reading.

I love when people get called out for bad reading comprehension, then mysteriously disappear.

I hate you.

Well, maybe not hate. Maybe loathe. I loathe you.

Landmass is right. Some of you people just can't or don't read.

Another poor, dumb bastard who can't read, can't drive, and is scared to cuss on the internet:

Some retard flew up behind me flashing his lights while I was in the left lane on the basin bridge in this exact scenario. Then he kept trying to speed around my right to cut me off to only be 12 feet closer to his destination.

I didn’t allow him of course and he fricking passed a car on the basin bridge shoulder, almost causing a huge wreck

I had a good friend, who only wanted to pass the car in front of him when driving. IT nearly killed him to follow anyone. If the car in front of him was doing the speed limit, he would pass it. If it was going 20 mph over the speed limit, he would pass it.

His method was to tailgate, as close as 5 - 10 feet and floor it to go by as soon as he could. We were following a guy one time, who was going 5 mph above the limit. The guy (an old geezer) actually pulled off the road to let him by after my friend tailgated him with maybe 10 feet separation for about two miles.

This was maybe thirty years ago in Arkansas. Now it would be a good way to get shot.

No longer a problem for my friend. He died of cancer. I really miss him, although not as a passenger with him driving.
