there you go again. assuming you know everything.

A person who believes in a ghost as an explanation for something that he doesn't understand is a person who claims that he knows the answer to something that he couldn't possibly know. A person who thinks that a ghost is a extremely unlikely is a person who admits his own limitations and acknowledges the reality of the world and what they can really experience. Who exactly is pretending they know more than they really do again?

there are things in this universe that we could not even begin to comprehend. to pretend you know is quite moronic.

Ummm.... exactly. So why do you know that ghosts explain an unknown event again?

There has never been any credible documented evidence of ghosts. It is probabilistically incredibly unlikely that they are an explanation for anything. Striking them from the list of reasonable possibilities is not the same as saying that I know everything like you claim.

I think it's very unlikely that man discovered fire by Prometheus stealing it from the gods. I think that people who currently believe this as the actual explanation for that discovery are silly and ignorant. This does not mean that I think I know exactly how it happened.

I saw objects in a home move without anyone touching them. My SO's grandmother haunts the house she lived in for most of her life. When the family tried to rent the house out to people outside of the family, she tormented them until those people divorced and moved out (this happened multiple times). The family had to actually go to the house and explain the situation to the ghost, that these people are not going to hurt the house. Since then, the hauntings have been completely benign and none of the couples who have rented the house since then have broken up or had any trouble

I'm not buying that load of bs, but since your SO does, did she every feel guilty rubbing one out knowing her Grammy was watching?

"Ghosts" are no more real than fairies, goblins or witches

But somehow billions of people believe in them
