It’s really pretty simple. Have some self control and buy what you can afford. Do not rely on credit to buy every toy under the sun. Do not fall into the credit card trap and don’t over extend yourself. Try to keep your credit used vs. your available credit as low as possible and always pay ontime. Crazy that so many people can’t grasp this simple concept.

Agreed. My daughter is a senior this year and is taking a class called “adult responsibility” and it covers credit and other pertinent financial matters. Really good stuff.
