I would say that there is at least a rational basis for criticizing parents with minor children who risk family finances and even going to prison by smoking.
That's fair. But it's pretty hard to find a jurisdiction where simple possession of weed will really cripple one or one's family, financially or otherwise, all that bad. Obviously slinging huge amounts of weed with kids and a family to tend to is a different scenario than a grown man smoking a little bit of weed at night after a long day or something.
Either way, hopefully by the time I've decided to start spreading my seed weed will be legal in Louisiana and I won't have to worry about this.

Right on brother!!
Marijuana is a dangerous mind altering substance, and something that should be kept illegal. I mean do you really want to live in a world where those dumbasses have free reign to ingest something as dangerous as MJ. Read some fricking studies ffs. IT ISNT HARMLESS and shouldn't be treated any different than heroin/meth/crack/LSD. It literally has no positive affect on people and honestly people should be happy we have govt agencies looking out for us and our childrens well being.
Just my .02$

I decided pot was vastly over-rated and counter productive to healthy living at age 13. Remembering my buds who smoked at that time and who didn't, and keeping in mind what became of them, it's obvious it was a solid conclusion.
I associate a good scotch or a good bourbon to a great evening of socializing with solid people, with the caveat that alcohol is infinitely worse from a destructive standpoint, if one gets in too deep. I associate pot with hanging out with a bunch of under-achievers in some dude's apartment who may or may not be able to make his rent next month. Maybe it is all those years in Boulder, but weed is just not a good indicator of good personal habits. Although I'm sure all the posters here are rocket scientists, there are too many loser hanger-ons associated with weed.
Deal with it.

Hey, don't take my word for it.
Talk to all those dirty, free-loading hippy chemotherapy patients and their doctors that swear by it.

What was your excuse when you were 18 in college getting shitfaced. And it wasn't legal?
I don't give a shite about drinkers who are against pot. Who cares what you like, I like what I like. Don't tread on me

Either they both should or should be legal. Alcohol is a lot more dangerous.

A lot of things are more dangerous than smoking weed. You still drive your car, right?

Weed smokers used to be mellow. Now the new ones have turned into a bunch of huge whiny assholes.

Its much less harmful than alcohol or cigarettes.
And I agree, they should all be legal.

I don't really drink anymore but I did in my early twenties. Regarding weed, I grew up around that shite. For one it is illegal, two I don't smoke anything much less pot. And the final issue with it, youdamn smokers are the most inconsiderate bastards on the face of the planet. It isn't like a beer has a cloud hanging around it. But light a cigarette/joint and everyone around has to smell that trash. Yet anyone with issues with your stupid habits are the bad guy? Why should the rest of us have to put up with your nasty arse illegal habits?
