How do they not make you whole? ETA Or in your example with very few exceptions? And you can’t say the deductible.

Business owner policies cover loss of income based on annual revenue. Again, it depends if the loss is actually covered. Civil unrest is usually excluded

There ironic part about this is, not a single person who were ok with burning down other people's businesses because insurance, would have burned down their own house before they left to burn other people's property.
That's how selfish people are, they have no problem burning down someone else's property, but they would not want someone to burn down their own car or house
